My Fair Lady

Shaun Kerrison

Shaun was Associate Director of Les Miserables { Palace Theatre London } and Tour Director for the national company. He was Resident Director of Martin Guerre (Prince Edward Theatre) and Associate Director of My Fair Lady at both the National Theatre and Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Shaun directed Baby (Mountview) and was Associate Director on J M Barrie's original play of Peter Pan and The Pirates of Penzance, both at The Savoy Theatre, London.

More recently, Shaun was resident director of The Lion King (Lyceum) and last year renewed his association with Les Mis_rables by staging Les Mis_rables in Concert both in Tokyo with the Japanese company, and a special gala performance at Windsor Castle to celebrate 100 years of the Entente Cordiale, for Her Majesty the Queen and President Chirac.

Prior to this new production of My Fair Lady, Shaun once again assisted Trevor Nunn and was resident director on Victoria Woods new musical , Acorn Antiques [Theatre Royal Haymarket.]

As an actor, his work includes the title role in Candide (Riverside Studios), understudied and played Frederick in The Pirates of Penzance (London Palladium), Marry Me a Little (Water Rats), Sweeney Todd (Oldham), Chicago (Leicester), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (Japan) and understudied and played Marius in Les Mis_rables (Palace Theatre, London).

His concert work includes Cavalcade of Coward (Piccadilly Theatre), The Hired Man (Palace Theatre), Hey Mr Producer (Lyceum) and Les Mis_rables - 10th Anniversary Concert (Royal Albert Hall), also serving as assistant director, later restaging the concert in Chelmsford and Cardiff Castle. He has appeared in and staged many cabaret performances at The Savoy, Caf_ Royal, Mansion House and The Plaza Hotel in New York, and has taught at the Royal Academy of Music, the London College of Music and the Actors Centre.

Shaun trained at the London College of Music and The Guildhall.
