David Ian Managing Director of Europe Clear Channel Entertainment David Ian was appointed CEO of the theatrical division of Clear Channel Entertainment ? Europe in 2001. He was made managing director of Europe in 2004. David Ian's producing/co-producing credits include: Saturday Night Fever at the London Palladium, Rob Becker's Defending The Caveman at the Apollo Theatre (which won the 1999 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment), Grease at the Dominion, Cambridge and Victoria Palace Theatres, Ain't Misbehavin' at the Lyric Theatre, The King and I at the London Palladium and Anything Goes at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Tours include Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Pirates of Penzance, The Rocky Horror Show, Singin' in the Rain, Evita, Chess, Dr Dolittle, The King and I and the arena productions of Happy Days, the Musical and Grease, in Australia. David produced the Laurence Olivier Awards from 1996 to 1999 for the Society of London Theatre.

For Clear Channel Entertainment, David oversees the operation of 21 UK theatres. These include the Dominion, Lyceum and Apollo Victoria Theatres in London. Current shows produced by David for Clear Channel Entertainment include the UK tours of Chicago, Starlight Express and Cats.
